Social Welfare is the process of Social Development through which the potential of the people is stimulated to promote effective participation in the process of social change and improvement of quality of life. The concept of Social Welfare in Pakistan is drawn from the cardinal principles of Islam based on Adl-o-Ehsan and Haqooq-ul-Ibad, making the state and society together responsible for the welfare of the people. The Constitution of Pakistan also enjoins on the state to alleviate the sufferings of all citizens irrespective of sex, caste, creed or Race.
Alhamdollilah! By the grace of Allah, this organization is serving the old age poor and the distressed people of our society since 2010. We are a part of a society where the majority of the people residing in villages and towns are living below the poverty line and even deprived of the basic necessities of life.
Now let us take a look at the life of the people living in cities, where unfortunately living conditions are not much different. If we examine their family size, we find a very painful situation, where in a small rented house the husband and the wife with their four children survive with a very low earning.
Alfalah Social Welfare provided by a community of individuals the state and local levels These services are geared toward eliminating poverty in a specific area. These services may include housing are-assignment, job placement, subsidies for household bills, and other cash equivalents for food. Social safety network in conjunction with a number of other poverty reduction programs with the primary of reducing/preventing poverty.
How will the head of the family be able to provide for the needs of his children?? The result: he takes loans. He is not to be blamed because he is responsible to provide three meals a day for his family and he is forced to use the wrong means to fulfill his family’s needs.
Surely, the poor and the needy are helpless. Our organization spends time with them and is fully aware of their problems and weaknesses. Therefore we want to help them in such a way that all financial aid is free from interest. In view of all the difficulties faced by the poor, Alfalah has organized some different sectors to sort out the problems of the ones who are in need. These departments are efficiently working for the cause of the society.
